An issue has arisen wherein you think people’s opinions are worth us removing their posts because you don’t agree with them.
Yes, most of your posts exist

but your not the only organization that have the letters FSU. Any organization with those initials can get stuck under that category depending on the author.
Every post in the above linked category is an opinion, and based on the privacy policy you see on every single page, has the right to be here.
If you fail to read that statement, that is not the fault of the administration team.
Their is nothing illegal about the content herein, and we the administration team will not remove posts because they may shed a bad light on the practices and policies that fitchburg state university have implimented.
We will also not remove posts because they call into question your employees’ lack of caring about your student’s health and safety when you clearly state on your

handbook

at athletic contests, during activities and events, and in our living environment.

How is letting a student live in filth and squallor and ignoring their attempts to get assistance living up to your handbooks statements?
then, When the student in question decides to call you out on it in a public forum, you want the administration team to remove those posts because you don’t like them. People have snapping points. If someone hits a breaking point without breaking any laws, we’re not responsible. we are always an advocate of open communication, see things posted

for prime examples of same.
If you want to openly send us a letter that explains your side of the story, hey, go nuts.
If you want to comment on entries and give your side of the story, again, go nuts.
But we will not, unless explicitly required to by law, remove entries or comments posted by authors and readers because they put an organization in a bad light.
Your students aren’t required to keep quiet if they feel your not living up to basic standards.
If your students decide to vent on this blog? We are not going to stop them unless it’s legally disallowed.
we have an opinion of you, you may have an opinion of us.
Is this violating the law? No.
Is posting that opinion for everyone to read violating the law?
No, it is not.
Is telling someone in a public forum to fuck a speeding truck unethical? Well, ok, maybe it is.
someone might just laugh at you and move on.
Could it be harassment? Sure, if you decided to be a tool and you may or may not get away with it.
Is saying we don’t like the way you operate under these conditions and we feel they are useless and unwarranted against the law?
No, this is an opinion.
So remember the difference between opinion and law the next time you decide to ask us to remove entries.
